8 groups (4 pairs per group)
Top 2 teams per group advance to Round of 16

Mixed Doubles Intermediate (<3.5)

64 pairs
16 groups (4 pairs per group)
Top 2 teams per group advance to Round of 32

🧮 Tournament Format

Group Stage

Format: Rally scoring to 21 points
Deuce Rule: At 20-20, sudden death (next point wins)
Match Format: Single Set
Outcome: Top 2 teams in each group progress to Knockout Rounds

Knockout Round

Round of 32, 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, 3rd Placing
Format: Rally scoring to 21 points
Deuce Rule: 20-20 sudden death (next point wins)
Match Format: Single Set
Note: Round of 32 only applies to the Mixed Doubles Intermediate category.

Finals

Format: Traditional 002 scoring, first to 11 points
Match Format: Best of 3 Sets (First team to win 2 sets wins the match)
Break Time: 2-minute break between sets

⏱ Timeouts

One timeout per team, per match/per set - only applicable for R32, R16, Quarterfinal, Semifinal, 3rd Place & Final matches.

Tournament Terms & Conditions

Registration Policy

All registrations are final. No refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
Exception: In the unlikely event that the tournament is cancelled by the organizer, a full refund will be issued to all registered participants.

Age & Nationality Eligibility

Participants must be 18 years and above.
Open to Malaysian citizens only.

Category Restriction

Players are allowed to register for both Intermediate and Advanced categories.
In the event of a clash in match schedules, the tournament organizer will attempt to accommodate as best as possible.
However, if a direct clash occurs, the player must choose one match toforfeit (walkover).

DUPR Rating & Compliance

Players must submit a valid DUPR ID during registration.
Players with DUPR rating reliability below 10% will be considered "NR" (Not Reliable).
Players must have a DUPR rating of 4.5 or below to enter the Advanced category.
Players must have a DUPR rating of 3.5 or below to enter the Intermediate category.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to accept or reject entries based on rating validity or sportsmanship.
Multiple DUPR accounts are strictly prohibited. Any player found registering with multiple accounts will be disqualified and reported to DUPR.
Any attempt to manipulate DUPR data or provide false information will result in immediate disqualification and formal reporting to DUPR.

Equipment Requirements

All paddles must comply with USAPA / UPA-A standards.
Tournament officials reserve the right to inspect equipment and may request a paddle change if non-compliant.

Code of Conduct

Unsportsmanlike conduct, verbal abuse, or inappropriate behavior towards opponents, referees, or organizers will lead to immediate disqualification.

Weather Policy

Tournament will proceed rain or shine. Indoor courts are available.

Media Release

By registering, participants grant the organizer the right to use photos/videos taken during the event for marketing, media, and promotional purposes.

Punctuality

Players must arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled match time. Failure to show up within 5 minutes of the scheduled start may result in a walkover.

Player Identification

All players must bring a valid photo ID or MyKad for verification on event day.
